New Regional Coach
Dave Tresidder has now come to the end of his three year term as Regional Coach for the South East, and so stood down at the end of December. Dave said "I would very much like to thank the volunteer regional team for all the help and support they have given during my time as regional coach. We have a fantastic membership support network in the South East that I know the members we come into contact with, very much appreciate."
As such Graham Pettett takes over the role of Regional coach with effect from 1st January 2008. Graham said “I wish to thank Dave for all the hard work he has put in over the last three years, which has made taking over the role in some ways very easy, but equally he will be a hard act to follow”
Graham has been an active member of the South East coaching team for four years and so will be known to many of you. Graham is a First Class Diver and Advanced instructor and have been diving for around fifteen years. He’s interested in all aspects of diving. As long as he’s in the water he’s happy.
Graham will be organising a series of meetings to in the coming months, where he hopes to meet as many of the South East region's members as possible to find out what you want from him and the team, and to let you know of some of the new ways that we can help you. Another opportunity to meet Graham will be at will be at the DiverSE'08 regional conference to be held at Kingston University on Sunday 10th February (see above).
